And seeing the wind make them wuk up amidst the leaves like this...heaven.

And of course every #caribbeanwriter worth their salt has written a poem or at least a (hopefully fresh) simile or #metaphor celebrating their vibrant flesh.🙃
But knowing there will be a battle royale ahead adds drama. Who will win: me or a lickrish green monkey? 🥭🐒
