We went to Georgetown, Guyana for my close friend's wedding - 4.5 days, no tourist itinerary, no rental car. Because of another local friend, we got access to the parts of the city most visitors never see: local food spots, historic landmarks, market, the seawall, and a local gym with no AC in 90-degree heat.
